If you’re considering a new Samsung device this year, explore the latest announcements below. Excitingly, you can pre-order right now, with shipments starting on February 7. Here’s a rundown of everything unveiled at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 Launches, At A Glance:

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Discover Samsung’s latest flagship with its innovative 50MP ultrawide camera. The device features the advanced Virtual Aperture technology, ensuring you capture every moment perfectly. Experience enhanced audio quality in your videos with the new Audio Eraser feature.

Samsung Galaxy S25+: This model features subtle changes in dimensions and a lighter build. Priced at $1,000, it runs on Android 15 and One UI 7, delivering enhanced speed and security.

Samsung Galaxy S25: Continuing the S Series tradition, the S25 boasts a lighter build and subtle design updates. With a boost in RAM from 8GB in the S24 to 12GB, it aligns with the other models in the series. Equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite 8 for Galaxy, it offers enhanced processing speed.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Samsung has unveiled an innovative mobile device, the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is set to be thinner, lighter, and equally powerful as the other models in the S25 series, though specific details are yet to be disclosed.

One UI 7: Samsung’s software now features enhanced security through Knox Vault. It introduces the Personal Data Engine and incorporates the Now Bar and Now Brief, offering AI-powered summaries to streamline your workflow and provide quick, personalized insights tailored to your interests.

Samsung’s latest flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, boasts a sleeker design than its predecessor. The previous Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra had a boxy aesthetic, but this model introduces a curved design while maintaining the S24’s dimensions of 77.6 x 162.8 x 8.2mm and reducing the weight by 15 grams for easier portability. The titanium build features slimmer bezels and a slightly larger display, now 6.9 inches, offering a QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a swift 120Hz refresh rate.

The key camera upgrades are a new 50MP ultrawide lens (up from 12MP) for improved detail and image quality, and the addition of the ProVisual Engine with ProScaler (from Samsung TVs) for the highest video quality yet on a Samsung device. Audio has also been improved with Audio Eraser software for fine-tuning and noise reduction. While the 50MP telephoto and wide lenses, 3x/5x optical zoom, and 100x Space Zoom remain, video modes stay at 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps. Battery life remains at 5,000mAh but now includes Qi2 charging (requiring a compatible case). The S Pen is now a passive stylus (no battery), and the device maintains an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Galaxy Doubles Down on AI

The S25 Ultra’s AI, powered by the Personal Data Engine, creates a seamless experience across Samsung smart home devices and wearables. By connecting to compatible devices (Samsung or Bixby), it learns user habits and provides personalized suggestions, like automatically adjusting a smart thermostat to a preferred sleeping temperature. This cross-device AI integration is the most significant new feature and is available across the entire S25 series. The phone is available for pre-order in four standard colors (Titan Black, Gray, Silverblue, Whitesilver), with three exclusive online colors (Titanium Pinkgold, Jetblack, Jadegreen). Prices start at $1,300 for the 256GB model, with 512GB and 1TB options also available. Shipping begins February 7.
